As a River Flows– a full day creative retreat

Retreat is necessary soul care

I love offering retreats, tending sacred space for others in the holy overlap between solitude and community. I need retreat to re-member my own wholeness, and so in the wisdom of some anonymous sage, I create what I most need to find.

This long season navigating a global pandemic has shifted the way we retreat, and we have limped along, finding opportunities to meet our own spiritual needs here and there, or maybe ignoring them altogether. “Zooming” has become ubiquitous and gone a long way toward meeting unmet communal needs. Creating online retreats is a wonderful way I have found to maintain creative fellowship even across time zones, and I will continue to hold these sacred spaces as well.

But there is something about an in-person contemplative retreat that is like a drink of water to a thirsty soul. And it’s time to be together again.

What to expect:

–a full day of soul-rest and silence, wandering slowly amidst trees on 65 beautiful acres, guided spiritual practices, nourishing food, and gently-tended circle process

–plentiful art materials to engage in prayer, with simple and accessible prompts provided

–fullness of permission to be just as you are, without expectation, for an entire day

–a welcoming, interspiritual space for all who need soul-care

Details:

–Saturday, May 13, 2023, 9am-5pm

–Continental breakfast, full lunch, and snacks included

–Limited to 20 retreatants, registration closes on April 20th

–Cost for the full-day retreat and all food and materials– $150

Space is limited

In order to nurture connection and a safe, intimate space, I am limiting the number of participants for our time together. If you have a friend you’d love to share the time with, invite them to join you! It would be my joy to welcome you face-to-face in May, to rest, create, and pray.
